Why ZAR if I'm outside South Africa?
AuraCV is built with South African payments in mind. International cards may work via Paystack with bank currency conversion — your statement may differ from the ZAR amount shown.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — when the offer is running, every account can activate a one-time free 1-month AuraPro trial from Subscriptions (/subscriptions). It unlocks AuraPro (all 22 templates, unlimited AI, no ads, PDF export) with no card required, and reverts to free automatically after a month. Auto-Apply, interview prep, and guided AI Improver stay on AuraPro+. See Free trial below for details. Separately, AuraCV sometimes runs sitewide AI promotions on the landing page with narrower benefits.
Can I switch monthly ↔ annual?
Use Subscriptions or Settings where plan changes are offered. If unsure, email support@auracv.net before paying twice.
How to subscribe
- Go to Pricing (
/pricing) or Subscriptions (/subscriptions,/upgrade). - Choose monthly or annual AuraPro.
- Complete checkout via Paystack (major cards and instant EFT in South Africa).
- After successful payment, your account should upgrade within minutes — refresh or log out/in.

Is Paystack safe?
Paystack is a widely used African payment processor. AuraCV does not store your full card number on its own servers; payment runs on Paystack's hosted flow.
Checkout failed — what now?
Check card balance, try another card or instant EFT, disable VPN, retry. If charged without Pro access, email support@auracv.net with the Paystack reference from email/SMS.
I closed the browser after paying.
Log in again and open Subscriptions. Payment usually still completes; allow 2–5 minutes for webhooks to activate Pro.
Manage subscription
Path: Subscriptions or Settings
- View current plan and renewal date.
- Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of the paid period, then you revert to free (5 templates, AI limits, ads return per free policy).
- Switch between monthly and annual where the UI supports it.

If I cancel, do I lose access immediately?
No — you keep AuraPro until the current billing period ends.
Will my CVs be deleted if I downgrade?
Your CVs generally remain in your account; you may lose access to Pro-only templates or exports for new actions — open My CVs after downgrade to see what is available.
Can I resubscribe later?
Yes — go to Pricing and checkout again.

Receipts are sent by Paystack to the email used at checkout.
Cancellation policy
Cancel from Settings or Subscriptions. No penalty for cancelling. Benefits last until period end; no partial refunds unless required by policy below.
Refunds
Contact support@auracv.net with:
- Registered AuraCV email
- Paystack transaction reference
- Short description of the issue
Refunds follow Paystack rules and AuraCV terms shown at checkout. Support cannot override bank processing times.
Free trial
When the trial offer is active, a "Try AuraPro free for 1 month" card appears on public marketing pages (Pricing, Landing, Product) and on Subscriptions (/subscriptions) for eligible signed-in accounts. Guests who start the trial are asked to create an account first.
- Who is eligible: any account that is not currently on AuraPro and has never used the trial before — including existing users and former subscribers whose Pro lapsed.
- Once per account, ever. After your trial (used or expired), the offer does not come back for that account.
- No card required. Activation is instant — no checkout, no billing details.
- Full AuraPro access for one month: all 22 templates, unlimited AI, ad-free, direct PDF export (not Auto-Apply / interview prep — those are AuraPro+).
- Ends automatically. Your account reverts to free after a month; nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.
- Upgrading during the trial: you can subscribe at any time from Subscriptions — paid time is added on top of your remaining trial days, so you never lose them.
- The trial is a limited-time offer and may not always be available.

The trial card doesn't show for me.
Either the offer isn't currently running, your account already used its trial, or you're already on AuraPro. The card only appears when you're eligible.
It says the trial "has already been used".
Each account gets exactly one trial, ever — even if the previous trial expired or you later paid and cancelled. To get AuraPro again, subscribe from Pricing or Subscriptions.
Will I be charged when the trial ends?
No. There's no card on file from the trial — you simply return to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe.
Promotions
Occasionally AuraCV also runs sitewide promotions (e.g. unlimited AI for all users for a limited time). Promotional access:
- Does not automatically grant Auto-Apply or all templates unless the promotion page says so.
- May end without notice when the campaign ends.
When AuraPro is worth it
Consider subscribing if you:
- Need more than 5 templates or a specific locked template
- Hit daily AI limits regularly
- Want AuraPro+ for Auto-Apply, interview prep, and guided AI Improver
- Need reliable PDF export without workarounds
- Prefer an ad-free experience
If you only edit a CV once a month, the free plan may be enough.
