Where jobs come from
AuraCV brings together listings from trusted job boards — it does not employ you directly. Typical sources:
South Africa: PNet, CareerJunction, Adzuna SA, Careers24, TopJobSeeker, and related feeds.
International: RemoteOK, Remotive, We Work Remotely, Arbeitnow, Jobicy, and more.
Listings refresh on a schedule (often daily). Some roles require applying on the original employer or board site via an outbound link.
Common questions: job board
Why don't I see many jobs?
Try broader keywords, switch region, or clear filters. Refresh the page.
Are salaries always shown?
Not every listing includes salary. SA roles may use ZAR.
Is every job still open?
Feeds can include expired roles. If the apply link fails, check the company careers page.
Does AuraCV guarantee interviews?
No. We help you find and track opportunities; employers decide who to interview.
Searching and filtering
- Search by job title, company, or keywords.
- Filter by region (South Africa / International), remote options, and quick role chips.
- Open Job detail (
/jobs/:id) for the full description.
Jobs you select in AI Hub → Job Matcher or Cover letter come from this same board.
Applying to jobs
Depending on the listing:
- Apply on the employer site — Follow the link, complete their form, then optionally record the application in AuraCV.
- Track in AuraCV — Update My Applications after you apply externally.
Keep Application Profile (/profile) complete for faster forms and better match scores.
Cover letters from a job
From Job Board or job detail, use Write cover letter to open Cover letter with that role pre-selected. You can also pick any job from the board inside the cover letter sidebar.
See AI features — Cover letters.
Quick Apply with AuraCV
From a job detail page, Quick Apply helps you fill employer application forms faster:
- Open the employer's application page.
- Use the AuraCV helper on that page.
- AuraCV reads the form fields it can see and fills what matches your profile.
- You review everything and submit yourself — AuraCV does not auto-submit by default.
If the employer site layout is unusual, Quick Apply may not support that form. Use the normal apply link instead.
Common questions: applying
Apply button does nothing or 404.
The listing may have expired. Try the company website.
Should I apply if match score is 50%?
Read the full description. Scores are estimates — improve keywords if you still want the role.
Can AuraCV apply for me on every site?
No. Many employers use their own portals. Auto-Apply (AuraPro) handles supported flows only — see Auto-Apply.
My Applications (tracker)
Path: My Applications (/applications)
A simple board to track where you are with each role:
- Applied
- Interview
- Offer
- Rejected
- Withdrawn
Adding applications
- From a job detail page when you apply or choose to track, or
- Manually — company, role, date, and notes.
Keeping track
- Move cards between columns or update status from the card menu.
- Add notes and interview dates.
- Check before applying again to the same company/role.
You can open Cover letter from an application card when a job and CV are linked.
Common questions: tracker
I applied on LinkedIn but don't see it here.
External applications are not auto-imported. Add manually.
What's the difference between My Applications and Auto-Apply history?
My Applications is your personal tracker. Auto-Apply also logs scan and apply runs — check both after a batch session.
Job match scores
On job listings and in AI Hub → Job Matcher, match scores show overlap between your CV and the role.
| Score range | Suggested action |
|---|---|
| 80%+ | Strong fit; reasonable for Auto-Apply if AuraPro (still read the ad) |
| 60–79% | Review manually; tailor CV bullets |
| Below 60% | Upskill or tailor CV; apply only if you genuinely qualify |
Always read the full job description, experience required, and work authorization.
How to check a match: AI Hub → Job Matcher → choose CV → pick a job from the board or paste description → run the check.
